You probably recognize our bride, she made quite some headlines at the end of 2014. But it wasn’t her fault really, it was her brother’s and his surprise visit from abroad to her Wedding that was a very well kept secret. NOONE knew about it and Avril’s happy and surprised reaction caught the attention of main national newspapers.

But let’s start from the beginning: Avril & Colin got married on one of our coldest days we had this Winter. As you can see in the “frosted” images within the Video… quite the freeze! So we drove very carefully to Roscommon to get their big day captured. Avril looked already lovely, even before the make-up came on – a true glowing bride. The house was full of huzzle and buzzle with many family members coming and going and we too were made very welcome by Avrils family.

Although being quite local to Roscommon we still discover little gems in the countryside, may it be lovely scenery / landscape or cute little Churches like the St Eithne & Fidelma’s Church in Tulsk. Colin was there bright and early to welcome all the guests and he was one of the first ones who spotted the surprise guest, before the Wedding Ceremony started.

After the Ceremony we went to the beautiful Hodson Bay Hotel where the reception took place. As I mentioned already, it was a very cold day, and everyone was happy to get a little heart-warmer at the Hotel Reception: Mulled Punch. But not for too long though, because the Bridal Party was brave enough to go outside onto the pier for their photo-shoot with Elaine Lally, their Photographer of the day. Both the Hotel and the pier have a special meaning to our couple. Colin proposed on the pier and so – here we are now, celebrating their Wedding in the Hodson Bay Hotel.

It was a fantastic day with lots of friends & family. We met previous couples and got chatting about how they are getting on now, it was a great Wedding Day.

The song for this Highlight Video was chosen by our couple. Truly this song has a very special meaning to many of you too – also to us. But for now – enjoy the Video.

Avril & Colin, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your special day. We felt so welcome and although we had to work, we too enjoyed our day. It was our pleasure creating your Wedding Video and we both are wishing you both eternal happiness forever.
