Wedding Video of Pauline & Michael

Like so many of our couples lately, Pauline and Michael also came back from abroad to get married in their hometown, which happens to be Anthony’s hometown too: Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Our couple is currently living in Australia and were organizing everything from abroad, which is not easy let me tell you!

The Ceremony took place in the beautiful Church of the Immaculate Conception in Tubberclair, just around the corner from us. Photographers of the day were Ken & Áine Byrne and it was our pleasure working with them.

After the Ceremony we went to one of Athlone’s landmarks: the Shannon Weir for some fantastic photos with the Shannon bridge and the newly renovated St. Peter and St. Paul Church in the background. It was a bit chilly (or shall I say: freeeeezin’!) but our couple was very brave and both Ken and Anthony got some amazing footage.

Then we went quickly to the Athlone Springs Hotel to warm us up and were greeted in style with a traditional Bagpiper, the friendly hotel staff and of course lots of friends & family.

The song for their Highlight Video was chosen by the couple themselves as it has a special meaning to them. It is probably THE song of 2014 and what better way to end the year than with a little romance on New Years Eve.
