What an amazing day in April we had for Noirin & Feargal’s Wedding. The sunshine was beautiful and although still a bit breezy it was bearable.

After some relaxed preparations at the Bridal House, we went on to the SS Peter & Paul’s Church in Athlone, overlooking the Athlone Castle. It’s a beautiful view and although being local the view still amazes me. Canon Liam Devine is always a pleasure to work with and he had wonderful words for our couple of the day.

After the Ceremony we went straight to the Shamrock Lodge Hotel where Tanya from FoKiss Photography & I, Patricia, got lovely footage from our newlyweds as you can see in the Video. Tanya was a pleasure to work with and we had lots of fun and having had a look at her Website & images – her little touches are absolutely amazing!

The Shamrock Lodge Hotel had a warm welcome prepared for our Bridal Party, traditionally accompanied by a bag-piper for a grand entrance of their newlyweds. Noirin & Feargal are fans of good music and music of the 80’s from what I’ve seen on their seating plan, lots of little details have gone into this Wedding planning for sure. And have a look at this fantastic cheesecake. A.m.a.z.i.n.g! I looove cheese and Noirin has told me that her friends Claire & George from the Fine Wine and Food Company in Athlone custom made it for their Wedding. Claire and George only opened their Shop this year and they sell specialty Irish produce. This was her first cheesecake and definitely a labour of love. It’s absolutely fantastic… and not as smelly as you might think 😉 I will make a visit in their shop shortly for sure.

For their Highlight Video we got inspired by their First Dance. Listening to it on the day it already sounded familiar (after all I was a teen in the 80’s so… loving everything there), but putting the lyrics on their Mass booklet together with their favorite music genre… voila… found it. Hope you love it too.

Nóirín & Feargal, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your special day. We are both wishing you all the very best for your future as husband & wife.

This must be the place

Home, is where I want to be, but I guess I’m already there. I come home, she lifted up her wings, I guess that this must be the place.

I can’t tell one from another, did I find you, or you find me?

There was a time before we were born, if some asks, this is where I’ll be, where I’ll be.
