Weddings are always a lovely family event, celebrating the couple’s new beginning as husband & wife and Fiona & Garry’s Wedding day was truly a family event. With Fiona being the youngest of seven siblings, her side of the family is well used to organizing Weddings. Everyone was excited and couldn’t wait to see Fiona and Garry tying the knot. Part of Garry’s family came all the way from Australia to be with our couple on their very special day.
And a very special day it was. We had lots of fun at the morning preparations, not only at the bride’s but also at the groom’s house. Fiona got a very, very lovely and very unexpected surprise from Garry: he extended their honeymoon by a few days to another fab location. How sweet is that? After an exciting morning we continued the celebrations with a lovely Ceremony in Mountbellew. Friends of our couple accompanied the Ceremony with their music and made this Wedding extra special.
On this Wedding we were working alongside Clare-Frances & Hatim again and together we got great footage just behind the Church at the little forest by the lake. After a quick stop at the marina just outside the Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe, we had an amazing reception arriving at the Shearwater Hotel. The staff was fantastic and cared absolutely great for both guests and vendors alike.
Ending the night were the Weightless Astronauts – I’ll probably never forget that band name as it is truly very original. The music for this Highlight Video has been chosen by our couple, as it has a very special meaning to them.
