We started this lovely Wedding with bridal preparations at the amazing Barberstown Castle. We had lots of fun with our #girlboss aka our bride Viktoriia and her bridal party. Photographer of the day was Monica from Monica Hadarean Photography and we got amazing footage throughout this fab Wedding.

Following our happy morning preparations we continued to a heartfelt ceremony at the Lady Chapel in Maynooth. Fr. Hughes had lovely words for our couple and telling us a bit about them. Back at Barberstown Castle we got greeted by all guests from near and far and got presented (if I am not mistaken) with a Korovai wedding cake. This cake is usually given to the bride and groom as a blessing and I bet it tasted delicious.

We then got photos taken on the stunning grounds of the castle. We had both lots of fun and of course a lot of romance going on at the kissing tree and in the gardens, before heading back to the guests.

After the speeches everyone was ready for the First Dance but… the bride was missing! This is another tradition from Vicky’s homeland, where the bride gets “kidnapped” and the groom has to release her, by fulfilling certain demands like dancing, singing and so on. Viktoriia was quite pleased with Tadgh’s efforts, returned to the dance-floor and both had then their first dance as husband & wife.

Vicky & Tadgh, thank you very much for letting us be a part of your fab Wedding day. We really enjoyed it and felt so welcome by everyone. We’re wishing you both only the very best for your future as husband & wife,

Patricia & Anthony
